This is a natural supplement to promote healthy levels of Vitamin D and Vitamin K, which have been shown to support bone health and strength, a robust immune system and cardiovascular health, among other benefits.

As with most supplements, the effects take time to build and optimise levels within your body. While the vitamins become available to your body in your blood in just a few hours, problems such as weakness in bones or calcification in arteries have usually happened over a period of years, so it's realistic to expect several months to start to repair the problems.

Use with caution if you have calcium levels, primary hyperparathyroidism or disorders of calcium metabolism

Use with caution if you are on anticoagulant medications, monitor INR levels particularly in the 1st two weeks of therapy. Vitamin K doses of 100mcg/ day do not appear to interfere with warfarin and may actually help stabilize and reduce INR fluctuations (INR – International Normalised Ratio).

No allergenic ingredients are added as part of the formulation, however, the facility that manufactures one of the ingredients used in the formulation also processes fish products on the same line. Full line clearance and cleaning procedures are completed after each batch is manufactured.

Vitamin D3 + K2 contains 4,000IU of Vitamin D3, so customers taking products that have additional Vitamin D3 such as Total Balance may be concerned about the levels they are ingesting. As per the reference below, a recent study concluded that "long-term supplementation with vitamin D3 in doses ranging from 5000 to 50,000 IUs/day appears to be safe".
