Why should I use a hand cream?

Applying moisturizer after cleansing or washing the face is a normal and logical part of most people's beauty routine, yet we wash our hands many times each day, without much thought to moisturizing our hands as well. As a result, our hands are left defenseless to the effects of the environment and are often the first places to show signs of aging. Using a hand cream is especially important for the tops of your hands where the skin is much thinner and has fewer sebaceous glands, causing them to become dry very quickly. The top of the hands also receives frequent sun exposure, contributing to the drying effects. Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream, containing an array of naturally based ingredients, helps to provide deep hydration and protection to the delicate skin of the hands.

Can I use Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream on my face or body?

You may use Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream on the body, but it is not specifically designed for this and greater results will be experienced from using our Replenishing Body Lotion. It would also be more economical. Comparatively, we would not suggest using the Softening Hand Cream on the face as it does not contain some of the ingredients specific to our facial products that help care for facial skin which is thinner and more delicate than that of the hands.

How do I use Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream?

Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream protects and rejuvenates while visibly reducing irritation and redness, leaving the skin replenished and softer to touch. Apply to hands morning and night and throughout the day as often as desired.

What is the shelf life of your products?

We have a significant number of antioxidants in our skincare, and as we are careful to prevent oxidation of these potent ingredients, we have chosen to package these products in tubes. This prevents excessive exposure of the product to air. Our skin care products have a shelf life of two years from manufacture date and we recommend storing them in a cool dry place.

Is it okay to use to my skincare if it has been frozen during transit?

Yes, it will be fine to use the product. Please do not open the tube, leave them in a place to gradually thaw at room temperature. Once thawed shake the tube as best as possible to mix the ingredients that could have separated slightly while frozen.

Please do not apply heat to the products, do not place them in a microwave or cover in boiling water. They are best left to slowly thaw at room temperature so as to protect the active ingredients.
