Obesity has become a Serious Epidemic…in all Developed Countries!

Over the last couple of decades, the number of overweight and obese individuals have increased dramatically. We don’t need to quote statistics as you will be aware how much of a problem it is, just by observing people around you. You may be one of them yourself. 

Most people who are overweight make a genuine effort to get it under control but usually end up fighting a losing battle. They have been ‘fed’ an incredible amount of misinformation about the causes of obesity, much of which has been discredited but nonetheless still believed by millions…such as ingesting fat. Fat does not make you fat! Sugar which converts to fat in the body is a major culprit. Of course you should avoid ‘artificial’ fats such as hydrogenated fats as they weak havoc in your body…but, healthy fats will help you lose fat and are critical to your health.

There is no Magic Weight Loss pill…Natural or Pharmaceutical.

At least none that will make you safely lose weight without it being combined with lifestyle changes, dietary habits and exercise.

A common misconception is that all overweight people are that way because they eat to much. Whereas that has a basis of truth with many people it is not a universal truth. Many overweight people eat very little. Their metabolism is often impaired that their body simply does not convert the food into energy but instead stores it.

An Important Message

One important message that we can share at this point is that to successfully manage your weight you must focus on your overall general health. Start by avoiding all unnecessary sugar, and most importantly try to avoid eating foods out of a packet!
