However the game has changed somewhat, what was considered to be kind of metrosexual for a guy to say “Oh my, I'm craving kale right now” is now the norm!
Since we released our Zupafood range the staff at Xtend-Life have been experimenting with using different ways to take it. Although most people prefer the simplicity of just having the Zupafood products with water because they all taste great, others want to harness the benefits of Zupafood and take their regular smoothies or juices to a whole new level - in other words sneak a bit of extra green into every sip. You could argue, that green juices and smoothies with the addition of Zupafoods are the hands down the ultimate liquid lunch of the new age.
But there is a debate running… Which is better - juicing or blending? Our customer relation’s team are all passionate juicers, the e-commerce team are die-hard blenders, our quality assurance team are utterly obsessed with Zupafoods straight up, and our manufacturing team are a little on the fence…they like to mix it up.
One thing that we all agree on is that we want to create for you, our customers, a go-to-resource of recipes from our blogs and our Facebook page that encourage people to make their own juices and blends, with the addition of Zupafoods - as opposed to buying smoothies or juices in a store. They are never as good as what you can make yourself. In fact, some are actually bad for your health; they can be loaded with added sugar and calories.
To get you started here is my all time favorite anti-aging green smoothie blend (for dull and lackluster skin). I boost my juice with the addition of Zupafood for SKIN. When I started drinking this green smoothie my friends and family started asking what I was doing, my skin was glowing and I had energy to burn. I wanted to show every one I came in contact with how easy it was to blend up leafy greens.
You never know…you might just become as passionate about spreading the green smoothie love as we are. But…don’t forget to add a sachet of Zupafood for all the extra concentrated benefits
Bottoms up!

Why these ingredients are so good.
Kale
One of the most nutritionally potent vegetables available, Kale definitely benefits your skin with its off the chart levels of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.
Spinach
Spinach strengthens skin tissue when eaten regularly. Spinach is high in vitamin E, one nutrient responsible that can help slow down the aging process.
Cucumber
It is an extremely hydrating, cooling and alkalizing vegetable for eliminating toxins. It is high in silica and other beneficial trace minerals for reducing inflammation and improving the softness of your skin and the strength of your hair and nails.
Parsley
Parsley contains immune-enhancing vitamins (C and A), and is a powerful antioxidant. Vitamin C not only nourishes the skin, it may reduce scars and blemishes. Bingo!
Lime Juice
The natural oils in limes are very beneficial for skin when consumed orally. It rejuvenates the skin, while keeping it vibrant and protecting it from infections.
Ginger
Reducing inflammation, ginger will help if you have any redness or puffiness on your face. It improves the appearance of your skin by removing toxins and stimulating circulation, resulting in delivery of more nutrients to the skin.
Kiwifruit
Kiwifruit is regarded as a leading source of vitamin C in the fruit world, Vitamin C has huge benefits in keeping skin young and vibrant. Kiwifruit contains several skin friendly nutrients like vitamin C, E and antioxidants. These are essential for boosting and rejuvenating your skin’s health.

Skin hydration is very important. Dehydration leaves the skin lifeless. Coconut water hydrates dull and dry skin, bringing smoothness to the face. Coconut water is full of naturally occurring potassium, a nutrient that many Americans are deficient in.
Zupafood for SKIN
You can use any two of our three Zupafoods with this recipe. I use Zupafood for SKIN, the natural blueberry flavoring balances well with the Kale, however ELITE also contains the same special form of Collagen and elastin polypeptides called Collactive, which all play their part in maintaining healthy skin and can have a big impact on your skin's appearance. You can read the clinical data supporting its efficacy for skin on Zupafood Ingredient page, under "Collactive Marine Collagen and Elastin Polypeptides".
