Dr. Laurence Eyres

Dr. Laurence Eyres is part of the Xtend-Life Scientific Advisory Board. His prime role in Xtend-Life Natural Products is advising the manufacturing, processing and handling of all our Omega 3 / DHA Fish Oils to ensure we can maintain maximum levels of purity, freshness and efficacy.

He also sits on the board of directors for FSANZ (Food Safety Authority of New Zealand) and has advisory roles with the NZ Nutrition Foundation and NZ Heart Foundation, as well as being a past Professor of Food Science and Technology at Massey University from 2000-2001.

Dr. Laurence Eyres is also the Chairman of the NZIC Oils and Fats specialist group, a role he has held on and off for 25 years and is the co-author of book called “A New Zealand lipid manual: readings and introduction to the science, technology, analysis and nutrition of oils and fats”.

He has held general manager positions as well as Technical and Operations Directors roles with Abels Ltd., APV, Bluebird Foods, NZ Dairy Foods, and Fonterra Brands.
