New Developments at Xtend-Life…

Today…at long last  we went ‘live’ with our new website. 

We have gone to a lot of effort to try and make the site easier for you to use and to also provide you with additional information.

If you go to the new site at http://www.xtend-life.com/ you will find that we have added in a section called ‘Health Conditions’.  From here you can select any of the listed Health Conditions and review overall information about that condition, which includes conventional treatments with pharmaceutical drugs as well as natural alternatives.

At the end of each condition there is a recommended natural protocol and if we have products that are helpful they are included in the protocol.

Over the coming months we will be adding many more health conditions and refining and expanding on what we already have.  It is our intention to ultimately cover a very broad range of conditions.  Our aim is to try and help point people in the right direction so that they are better informed to seek specialist and professional help. 

These conditions are being thoroughly researched so you can rely on the accuracy of them.  Our objective is to ultimately become a source of information which you can rely on.  When one or more of our products are included in the recommendations and protocols they are only there because there is sound scientific evidence supporting their use. 

As we add further conditions there will be cases in which none of our products will be included as there is insufficient evidence to support their use.  In these cases we may made recommendations of substances to use, although we will not recommend specific brands as we have no knowledge of the manufacturing quality of other brands.  However, we will ‘point you in the right direction’.

Ingredients…

You will note that if you go to one of the products ingredients, for example Total Balance Women’s Plus, you will see that we have expanded considerably on the information that we are releasing...click here to see.

...This is to cater for the increasing sophistication of our customers who wish to know the amount of actives in the various ingredients, whether they be herbs or minerals.

We will over the next few months expand further on what the various ingredients do, and how they interact together.

Search Engine…

A number of customers have over the years asked for an easier way of finding information on the site.  This is now possible as we have provided that function.  You can now type in any term and get a list of where that term, whether it is an ingredient or condition, can be found on the site…even if it is an old newsletter.

Once again this search engine is just the starting point.  We have programmers working on this and other parts of the site to continually improve it.

New Products…

We have today also released a new product.

It is called GLM-Omega 3-Plus which is a combination of our Omega 3 DHA/Esters and a highly concentrated form of New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel extract.   The Green Lipped Mussel extract has a world wide reputation for providing pain relief to arthritis sufferers and other people who suffer from inflammation.

This mussel extract is unique to New Zealand and is not the ‘normal’ extract that you may have heard of.  The normal extract is not concentrated.  Our form had to be concentrated in order to combine it with the oil/esters.  This has been achieved with no loss of active ingredients.  It is a 5:1 extract.

We developed this product which is unique to Xtend-Life to help those customers who have mild arthritis or inflammation but it is not severe enough to warrant the cost of our arthritis protocol using our Arthrit-Eze product.

If you have a need for this type of product you can now purchase the GLM-Omega 3-Plus for only a few cents a day more than it is currently costing you for the Omega 3 DHA/Esters.  You will still get the same amount of Omega 3…you just need to take 3 soft gels a day instead of 2 soft gels.

We are preparing to manufacture the first run of our new Heart Product which once again is designed as an adjuvant to Total Balance to help improve heart and artery health.  More about this next month!

Customer Log In…

We have completed this as well.  This log in facility will make it much easier for customers to place repeat orders and also for loyalty program members to change or modify their orders and shipping times right up to the last moment.

Although we completed the structure and testing of the system a couple of months ago it could  be up to another couple of months before we can make it available on the website as we are currently conducting an exhaustive security audit on the system to ensure all customers data is 100% secure.
