Question: From Jack. (Subject: Fibromyalgia...)q1
My wife has fibromyalgia and has quite a lot of ache type pain especially if she gets overtired. I am taking your Unisex product and have great confidence in you. Would your Arthrit-Eze be a help for Fibromyalgia? Tks in advance.
Answer: From Nicolien.
You are correct in that Arthrit-Eze may well be helpful for your wife's fibromyalgia. It is a very powerful natural anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving formula. For more info on it please click here. You may find the technical report to be of help as well.
Regarding fibromyalgia, there are some articles on the www that you may find interesting to read about fibromyalgia. Go to www.findarticles.com, then choose "health and fitness", then choose Alternative Medicine Review. Type in the search box "fibromyalgia" (or 'chronic fatigue') and choose in the box next to it "this publication".
You will find a few articles that may be useful to you.
Your wife may also benefit from some additional magnesium. I would suggest that she takes 200 - 250mg magnesium malate or citrate 3x daily for 6 weeks, and if she gets good results, then she could continue with it for a year. It is available from most health stores. She can also increase her Magnesium intake via foods such as:
Almonds, Brewer's Yeast, cashews, cocoa (pure, preferably organic) some mineral waters (check label), organic molasses, parsnips, artichokes, soy beans, wholegrain cereals, kelp, eggs, seeds (pumpkin, sunflower), spinach, broccoli, corn, potato, banana, watermelon, avocado, milk, beans, peanutbutter, tofu, halibut, and millet.

Question: From Theresa. (Subject: Interaction with Alphagan P!)q2
My husband is currently taking Lipitor and experiencing many side effects. I am interested in an alternative such as your cholesterol formula. He also uses Alphagan P eye drops for an eye pressure problem.
Would your product interact with Alphagan P?
Answer: From Nicolien.
There are no known interactions between your husband's medication and our Cholesterol Formula (CF).
Regarding your husband's intent to lower his dosage of the statin drug or come off it entirely, I would like to suggest that in concurrence with his doctor, he could try the protocol below.
First start taking our Cholesterol Formula (CF) in the daily dose of two capsules 30 - 60 minutes before the evening meal. In the first month of taking the CF maintain the current dose of the statin.
In the second month reduce the dose rate of the statin by 1/3. In the third month reduce the dose rate of the statin by another 1/3. At the end of the third month have a blood test and if all is in order try for another 2 months without the statin and then have another blood test to determine the cholesterol levels.
The reason why this protocol is important is that coming off statin drugs will most likely cause a high spike in cholesterol levels which may last for up to 5 or 6 months, even when coming off them gradually.
We have found that this protocol is successful with many customers.
I would also suggest that during the process of coming off the statin drug that your husband takes a quality CoQ10 supplement to help restore his levels which will have been depleted by the statin. After he is off the statin he could discontinue the CoQ10 and then he should consider our Total Balance for a few months to help to continue building up his body's stores of CoQ10. (Our TB helps the body produce more CoQ10).

Question: From Merrilyn. (Subject: Leaky Gut Syndome and Rheumatoid Arthritis.) I have recently purchased your Omega 3 Capsules. My condition is Rhuematoid Arthritis. I do not take pharmaceuticals, but I do take lots of supplements. I believe the cause of my condition is Leaky Gut Syndrome. My question is:
If I take your general supplement, the arthritis supplement and the Omega 3 oils, will I be addressing the Leaky Gut Syndrome. My condition is chronic. I am unable to stand from a normal sitting position, find it extremely difficult to walk because of the stiffness in my knees and hips and have trouble sleeping.
Answer: From Nicolien.
Regarding leaky gut syndrome, this information may be useful to you:
Many disorders may be caused or originate from leaky gut syndrome, such as Crohn's disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, (bowel) cancer, arthritis, malnutrition, bloating, food intolerances, rheumatoid arthritis etc.
Initial causes for leaky gut syndrome are gut dysbiosis, candida, damage by NSAIDs, antibiotics, chemicals and pesticides, intestinal parasites, diet too low in fiber and too high in sugars and proteins, intestinal infection, malabsorption, Coeliac's disease, achlorhydria, inadequate digestive secretions, altered pH, stress, etc.
To heal a leaky gut, these steps need to be taken:
- Eliminate food allergies (common are wheat or gluten and dairy) by an elimination diet, and eliminate intake of antibiotics, alcohol, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), pesticides and chemicals (by for example choosing organically grown food).
- Help to stop the inflammatory process in the intestinal epithelia (and possibly beyond).
- Support liver function.
- Re-inoculate bowel with probiotics.
- Re-establish the epithelium of the bowel to normal function by eating high fiber foods such as slippery elm powder (also anti-inflammatory to the bowel epithelia), psyllium, cabbage (and bananas).
Our multi-nutrient Total Balance (TB) may play a role in these steps as it contains anti-inflammatory ingredients such as turmeric, ginger, myrrh, vitamin c, quercetin, rutin, and bioflavonoids. Turmeric also improves bile flow, thus improving digestive function, along with digestive enzymes in the formula (lipase, papain, betain HCl, isolase) and is a liver-protective herb, as well as anti-oxidant and blood cleansing.
Total Balance also contains Mahonia Grape. It's active ingredient berberine promotes digestion, is anti-diarrheal, anti-microbial and enhances the immune system. Other important ingredients for balancing (digestive) health are vitamin A and D, the B-vitamins, choline, folic acid, green tea extract, tea polysaccharides, and zinc. Aloe polysaccharides and beta glucans are beneficial in inflammatory bowel conditions. For more info on Total Balance, please click here.
I would recommend that you take 6 tablets of Total Balance, in 2 doses of 3 tablets daily.
Both TB and our Arthrit-Eze work optimally if you leave a gap of at least an hour between the TB and Arthrit-Eze. The Omega 3 can be taken with either of them.
Regarding rheumatoid arthritis, our Arthrit-Eze may indeed be helpful particularly in conjunction with our Omega 3 that you are already taking.
You may find it helpful to read the technical report and other details about Arthrit-Eze, all of which you can find by clicking here.
