Question: From Boyd. (Subject: Brazilian Coral Calcium...)q1

Have you considered using Brazil Live Coral as a source for the Coral Calcium product? If so, why not? I am told it is not processed with heat like the Okinawa coral supply. It is supposed to have a higher content of trace minerals than the Okinawa supply.

Do you know of a problem with the Brazil supply?

Answer: From Nicolien.

I contacted Warren Matthews about the Brazilian Coral Calcium. He said it is OK. The above sea version of Coral Calcium we use is not heat treated, as it only requires ozone treatment to purify it.

We do not use the marine version of Coral Calcium, because of the high level of contaminants (this is the one that is heat treated to try to remove some excess heavy metals). The differential of trace minerals between the two types is negligible.

Warren Matthews has written a special report on Coral Calcium, which you can access by clicking here.

Question: From Karen. (Subject: Cod liver oil and diabetics...)q2

If you would be so kind to answer a question, I'd really appreciate it. I have noticed "warnings" on some Cod Liver Oil/Fish Oil products that diabetics should not take them or should check with an MD before taking.

Why would this be?

Answer: From Nicolien.

Taking fish oil may help to balance bloodsugar levels and thus make the body more receptive to insulin. In diabetics who take insulin by injection, this may influence the amount of medicine that they need to take.

Question: From Silvano. (Subject: Paqin...)q3

I am writing on behalf of a friend of mine whose name is Alberto, who lives in Italy. I mentioned to him that my wife & I are using Xtend-Life products with very good results. He has asked me to write to you on his behalf concerning a problem he has with his knee, specifically his cartilage.

Some time ago he knocked his knee and it has been causing him pain & discomfort. Despite seeing a doctor & being prescribed pain killers he has had to stop taking them as they upset his digestion and stomach.

Answer: From Nicolien.

It is likely that your friend may benefit from our Arthrit-Eze. This helps with arthritis and related inflammatory disorders and problems that affect cartilage and bone. For more info on this please click here.

I would also suggest that he uses our Omega 3/DHA Esters as this is beneficial too, over a period of time in controlling inflammation and pain complaints. It also gives a lot of other benefits as well. For details please click here.
